Wilma joined Olivares in 2011. She is an attorney for our trademark team since 2015, and since she entered the firm, she has worked in Luis Schmidt’s team. Her job mainly consists in registering distinctive signs, conducting phonetic and design searches, filing responses to official actions issued by IMPI, and consultancy related to trademark matters. Her job is linked to the entertainment law in Luis Schmidt’s group, bearing the relationship existing between Industrial Property rights and Copyright, seeking a double protection for clients through both Intellectual Property fields.

When I’m not being a lawyer…

I truly enjoy movies and television series. I love traveling Mexico in order to know its history and the charming places of this country. I am a sports enthusiast, I especially enjoy soccer, football and baseball.
